It was time to begin executing my plans. In the midst of the whole affair I could take Umbrella's ultimate Bio-Organic Weapon, the Tyrant, and join forces with an opposing corporation of Umbrella. To buy into that opposing corporation I would need the actual combat data of the Tyrant.

The surviving privileged members of S.T.A.R.S. were just the perfect bait. I decided to have one of them play the Judas and draw them to the Tyrant.

That Judas was Barry.

Barry was strong, just, kind and cherished his family more than anything. His type is easy to manipulate. I just took that most important thing away from him. My only miscalculation was the high potential of Chris and Jill. But with the family man Barry playing Judas the scheme went as planned.

Then the winds turned unexpectedly.

I had to eliminate Enrico, who found out what was behind it all. I used Barry to get to him. After I successfully got rid of that nuisance I awaited the sample specimen that Barry would bring to me in the Tyrant's room.

I injected the virus I obtained from Birkin in advance. If I made Umbrella believe I was dead, it made it far more convenient to sell myself to the opposing corporation. According to Birkin, the virus had profound effects. It would put my body in a state of temporary "death". It would then bring me back to life with super human powers. Therefore, I unleashed an awesome Tyrant from its slumber and let it attack me.

As my consciousness faded away I was certain that the whole scheme would end in success.

Never did I imagine that S.T.A.R.S. could slay the evil creation. I lost the Tyrant and the plan I devised which cost me my humanity ended in failure. Now anything and anyone who stood in my way would be terminated. It's been that way for a long time and it always will be. At all costs I had to make S.T.A.R.S. pay.

執行計劃的時候到了！為了加入《保護傘公司》的敵對陣營，我打算帶走《保護傘公司》的終極生化武器：暴君（the Tyrant）。同時，為確保達成這個目標，我必須對暴君有更完整的瞭解與掌握：包括暴君在實戰中的相關反應與表現！（編按：Wesker口中《保護傘公司》敵對陣營，一直到《惡靈古堡》系列遊戲第5代才有了交代，這家公司叫做Tricell，許多網站和攻略本都翻譯為《三聯生技》。和《保護傘公司》一樣，《三聯生技》也是一家頗具規模的製藥公司）。

對我而言，倖存的5位S.T.A.R.S.成員（編按：即Part 2的Chris、Jill、Rebecca、Barry與Enrico），將是拿來蒐集暴君實戰資訊的最佳誘餌！而接下來要做的，就是從中挑出1位背叛者，指使他引誘其他成員去與暴君對戰……

這位背叛者就是Barry。

像Barry這種正直、善良又顧家的人，要操控他其實很簡單：拿他最重視的家人作為威脅，便可讓其乖乖就範！事後看來，雖然當時我嚴重低估Chris和Jill這兩人的能力，但至少Barry還是如我計劃般地、成功扮演了背叛者的角色。（編按：依Wesker個性，原文中用來描述Barry的Strong一詞，應該是帶著「頭腦簡單、四肢發達」的貶損意味，而非稱讚他是個強壯的男子漢！）

但，後來的發展出乎我意料之外！……

Enrico發現了我的真實身份。為避免東窗事發，我叫Barry幹掉Enrico！順利解決這個阻礙之後，我來到暴君所在的實驗室，並等著Barry把那些實驗品引誘到這裡來（編按：這邊提及的實驗品，就是可供記錄、蒐集暴君實戰資訊的樣本，意指Chris、Jill等S.T.A.R.S.倖存成員）。

在進實驗室前，我已把Birkin提供的病毒注入體內。根據Birkin說法，這個病毒可讓我進入「假死狀態」，而當我再次甦醒時，就會變成擁有超凡神力的超人！我心中的盤算是：如果能夠讓《保護傘公司》誤以為自己已經死了，將有助於我更容易地加入《三聯生技》。為達目的，我把沈睡中的暴君喚醒，並讓它殺了我！

在遭到暴君致命攻擊、意識逐漸模糊之際，我認為，我成功了！

想不到，那幾個S.T.A.R.S.成員居然有能耐，殺掉我費盡千辛萬苦才得到的暴君！可惡的S.T.A.R.S.，你們將為此付出代價！我要你們知道：擋‧我‧者，死！
