My name is Albert Wesker.

I aspired to become a leading researcher at Umbrella Inc., A pharmaceutical enterprise who covertly conducts Bio Organic Weapons, better known as B.O.W., for development. But at the Management Training Facility situated in Raccoon City, I met a brilliant and talented researcher who decided to take a different path - William Birkin.

In time I shifted my position to S.T.A.R.S., a special forces unit of the Raccoon Police Department. Umbrella, for crisis management reasons of their illegal Bio Organic Weapons development had many of its people working in the police department.

I became the leader of S.T.A.R.S. and conducted all sorts of intelligence activities for Umbrella. As I continued to serve I devised my own plans and waited for the right moment to execute them.

Then at last, opportunity knocked.

我曾是《保護傘公司》的一員。《保護傘公司》座落於浣熊市，主要業務項目為藥品製造。表面上，這家公司和其他製藥公司/工廠並無不同；但私底下，卻偷偷進行著：生化武器的研究與發展！…… 原本我的野心與目標，是成為《保護傘公司》首席研究員！但在遇見了威廉‧柏金（William Birkin，以下簡稱William） ── 這位表現傑出的天才研究員之後，我改變了我的心意！……

不久之後，我被《保護傘公司》派駐進入了S.T.A.R.S. ─ 浣熊市警局特種部隊。《保護傘公司》指派了很多像我這樣的成員，遍及浣熊市警局各個單位！其目的，就是基於風險與危機管理：在浣熊市警局佈滿眼線與內應，避免【生化武器研究/發展】這項違法勾當曝光。

後來，我成為了浣熊市警局特種部隊隊長，並利用職務之便，持續替《保護傘公司》執行情資蒐集等諜報工作。不過，在此同時，我心中也盤算著屬於自己的計劃，並耐心等候這項計劃可被付諸實現的最佳時間點。
